The
Cuisine at Hunstrete House is in the capable hands of Chef
Phil Hobson and his team. Phil trained under some of the
finest Chefs in the country. This training, dedication and
commitment has earned him and his food much recognition.
When
in season, he uses much of the freshly grown produce from
our historic Victorian walled garden. His style of food
is light, English modern with French influences. You will
find that the artful presentation and strong natural flavours
will fulfill your palate's expectations.
We
offer a wide range of menus and seasonal dishes for all
occasions, and we are happy to discuss your personal tastes
and dietary needs

Dining
Rooms
The Terrace Dining Room decorated in soft pinks, greens
and creams with it's sparkling crystal chandeliers create
a feeling of quiet comfort when you dine. It looks out onto
the Italianate, flower filled, sun trapped courtyard, where
in the late Spring and Summer, you can enjoy al fresco dining.
For
private or intimate family dining, we can offer you "Quail"
which can seat up to 15 comfortably or the "Garden
Room" which can seat up to 30 for larger occasions,
such as wedding, anniversary or birthday celebrations.
For
the still larger function, we can arrange a marquee for
you situated on the croquet lawn which will cater for
up to 120 guests. This is a particularly picturesque setting
as the views are over the walled garden and the West wing
of Hunstrete House; ideal for those special wedding photographs.
